Finalization of Governance Programme
Royal Danish Embassy, La Paz, Bolivia, 2014
Bolivia
Main project features
The Royal Danish Embassy required assistance to formulate their governance programme in Bolivia (also called the “Rights Programme”), which among other issues, will include support to the new special force against violence, responsible for combating violence against women. Also, support is provided for personal identification services (ID cards), service of issuing birth-, death-, marriage-, and divorce certifications and to extend the coverage and quality of the public defenders’ services, particularly to impoverished citizens. Civil society organisations will also receive assistance to promote prevention of – and combat – violence against women.
